Pointer Candidate Survey

January 13, 2020

In 2019, we conducted a questionnaire survey among our candidates about their use of social media in connection with the change of job.

The survey shows that a vast majority of candidates keep a social media profile up to date in order to attract new potential employers. This result is consistent across gender and all job functions. Furthermore, many of our candidates have been contacted on the social media by a company or a headhunter within the past year. However, despite this trend, this survey also shows that 68% of the candidates still prefer to be contacted on their mobile or email rather than starting a dialogue via social media.

In recent years, Pointer Search has also noticed the digitization trends in the recruitment industry. However, we have maintained our core values, which originate from our source-based search through our network, which is built over 12 years, and which is the foundation of our company. We practice a recruitment process based on targeted candidate search, personal and serious dialogue, and absolute discretion.

We always work in close dialogue with our clients, and we attach great importance to mutual trust and loyalty – principles that we also want to reflect in our work with the candidates.
